This policy explains what Prognova Health (“Prognova”, “we”) stores in your browser when you use this website, why, for how long, and the choices you have. It sits alongside our privacy notice, which explains how we handle the information you give us.
- We use a few cookies the site needs to work, such as keeping you signed in. These are always on.
- Everything else is optional and off until you turn it on: remembering your country and currency between visits, and counting page visits.
- We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
- You can change your mind at any time. The change applies straight away.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Browsers can also keep information for a site in local storage, which stays until it is cleared, or session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. This policy covers all three.
2. How we use cookies
Some storage is strictly necessary to give you a service you asked for, such as signing in or sending a planning request. We use it without asking, and you cannot turn it off. Everything else is optional: we use it only after you allow that category, and stop when you withdraw it.
Your permission covers only what we store in your browser and the analytics described here. How we use the information you give us, such as a planning request or medical reports, is explained in our privacy notice.
3. What cookies does the site use?
3.1 Strictly necessary Always on
Keep the site secure, sign you in and keep things you started, such as a planning request or a saved trip plan, linked to your browser. The site cannot work without these: you could not sign in, send a request or keep a conversation going. They are used only for the service you asked for, so they are always on.
What is collected: Random identifiers and short-lived security checks. They do not identify you on other sites.

3.2 Functional Optional
Remember the country and currency you chose, so prices and travel details are ready next time you visit.
What is collected: A two-letter country code and a currency code. Nothing else.
With this off, we remember these choices only until you close the tab.

3.3 Analytics Optional
Count page visits so we can see which pages help people and fix the ones that do not.
What is collected: The page address, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type and country. Vercel works out the country from your IP address and does not store the address.

3.4 Marketing Optional
Measure advertising and show you relevant ads on other sites.
What is collected: None today.
We do not use any advertising or marketing services. If we ever add one, it will stay off unless you turn this on.
4. Services you start yourself
Some features connect you to another company only when you use them. Those companies may set their own cookies on their own websites, under their own policies:
- Sign in with Google: Google’s sign-in page sets Google’s cookies. We receive only the result of the sign-in.
- Video consultations: when you join a call, the call opens in a window from 8x8 (Jitsi as a Service).
- Nova voice: when you start a voice conversation, the audio connects to LiveKit.
Our pages load fonts, images and scripts from our own site. When you allow analytics, Vercel’s analytics script is also served from our own domain.
5. What if you don’t want cookies?
- Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or the button above. Allowing only essential cookies is as quick as accepting all.
- When you turn a category off, we stop using it on every open tab at once. Remembered preferences are moved out of permanent storage and kept only until you close the tab.
- We can only remove what our own site stores. Cookies that another company sets on its own website, such as Google, can be removed only in your browser settings or with that company.
- Your browser can also block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, signing in and sending requests will not work.
6. How long we remember your choice
We keep your choice for 6 months and then ask again. We also ask again if we change this policy in a way that affects what you agreed to. Your choice is stored only in your browser, with the date you made it and the version of this policy you saw. It does not contain your name, email or anything else about you.
